Zodiacgender is an umbrella term defined as "a catch-all gender term that is used to describe when one’s gender is related to a (or their specific) zodiac sign"1

It was redefined as "Your gender is related to your zodiac symbol"2

It was redefined again as "an umbrella term referring to any gender that is related to a zodiac sign. They can be xenogender but don't have to be. Zodiacgenders may take on the traits related to the zodiac sign or they can simply be related to that zodiac sign. One who identities as a zodiacgender does not necessarily have to have that sign, however how people may identity as a zodiacgender because there zodiac sign heavily influences how they experience gender."3

Zodiacgender was coined on or before August 8, 2014, by an anonymous individual, likely via now deleted Tumblr blog MOGAI-Archive. This is likely as the first findable use of both its name and definition is in a Pastebin document that held a number of other terms coined on the blog.5

It was redefined on December 18, 2014, by Twitter user Pisslover98.6

It was redefined again on October 10, 2019, by LGBTA Wiki user Chaoticcylinder.7

It was redefined the third time on December 9, 2020, by LGBTA Wiki user Mothfree.8

Flag and Symbol History

The flag was made by an unknown person on or before February 20, 2017.9

The redesign was made by Twilight-Moon-Velvet via Pride-Flags on Deviant-Art on July 13, 2018.10

As of June 13, 2022, Zodiacgender doesn't have a symbol.
