Name(s) and Definition(s)

Toygender is an Intangigender, Objegender, and Osogender (as well as a Feeligender in the first redefinition) defined as "A gender identity closely connected with childhood, playfulness, and of course, toys! It tends to lean on the soft masculine side of the gender spectrum, though this isn’t the case for everyone using these pronouns!"1

It was redefined as "a soft-masculine-leaning Xenogender that is closely linked with childhood, playfullness, and toys.People under this label feel like their gender and identity is tied with their experiences with toys growing up, or their affinity for toys even as an adult/teen."2

It was redefined again as "a Xenogender that is closely linked with childhood, playfullness, and toys. It can be soft-masculine-leaning, but it doesn’t have to be. People under this label feel like their gender and identity is tied with their experiences with toys growing up, or their affinity for toys even as an adult or teen. People under this label may also feel like they fall under a miniature, simplified, or 'toy' version of a pre-existing gender but cannot relate to the gender in full."3

On February 5, 2021, the term was incorrectly conflation with a term of the same name, coined by a different individual, and was treated as though its flag and definition were a part of that term.8 This misinformation was posted by LGBTA Wiki user A Little Fan 0f Everything.

In addition to that, the other version of Toygender was also somewhat conflated with this term in ways described on its page.

It's unknown where this misconception came from, nor if/when the page will be corrected.
