Name(s) and Definition(s)
Rosboy is a Neogender (as well as an Orientationgender in the fourth redefinition) defined as "a feminine boy; someone who both considers themselves a boy and has some significant connection to femininity, either in their gender or expression; a feminine-aligned boy; an umbrella term for all identities that involve being both a boy and feminine"1
It was redefined as "term for a feminine boy or man. They consider themself [sic] a boy or have a connection to manhood, but they also have a connection to femininity, either in their gender or their gender expression. It is an umbrella term for all identities that involve being both a boy and feminine, [sic] and includes feminine aligned men and men who present femininely."2
It was redefined again as "a term for a feminine boy or man. Rosboys consider themself a boy or man, either from having a connection to boyhood/manhood or desiring to be outwardly perceived as boys/men, but also have a deep connection to femininity.
This could be entirely internal or external through gender expression non-conformity; some ways of expressing this are through alternate pronouns, names, physical expression, mannerisms, desired titles, etc. though these are not necessary components.
It is an umbrella term for all identities that involve being both a boy and feminine, including feminine-aligned men and men who present femininely.
The female counterpart of rosboy is azurgirl."3
It was redefined a third time as "a term for a feminine boy or man. Etymology
"prefixes come from the words βroseβ and βazureβ, which are specific shades of pink and blue respectively. both of these prefixes are similar to how many european languages say βblueβ and βpinkβ, and the english words both relate to nature, which i felt unified the terms!"14
