Name(s) and Definition(s)

Kingender is an umbrella term defined as "the only thing defining your gender is your kintype
(this gender is otherkin specific)"1

It was redefined as "a gender identity related to ones kinself."2

It was redefined again as "a gender identity related to ones kintype. A kintype (or otherkin) relates to a non-human identification, like if one relates to plants and the spiritual, mental, and emotional conotations that come with that."3

It was again redefined as "a gender identity related to ones kintype. A kintype (or otherkin) relates to a non-human identification, like if one relates to plants and the spiritual, mental, and emotional conotations that come with that.
The identity is exclusive to those who identify as Otherkin, because the gender of people who identify as kingender is intertwined with their non-human identity. If you are not otherkin, you cannot be kingender as you do not experience a key part of this identity."4

The kingender experience is different for everyone. Some people experience a change in their gender when they kinshift, some people feel that the reason they are their gender is because of their otherkin identity, for some people their gender might be a gender related to the non-human being/thing they identify as.
