It was redefined as "a xenogender where one feels a strong connection to candles or things related to candles such as burning out or they feel related to wax as their gender. Ljusgender is not a genderflux identity like candylic- both are connected to candles, but ljusgender is specifically a xenogender for feeling connected to the properties of candles, not connecting candles to their gender fluctuation."3

Etymology
"Swedish “Ijus”, meaning candle."7
It should be noted that the Swedish word for "candle" is actually Ljus,8 but was likely misread as "Ijus", due to lowercase "l"s looking like capital "i"s in any sans serif fonts, including the one used on foreign language dictionary website Wiktionary.
